Paul Bateman is a UK based collage and photomontage illustrator with many years of experience in editorial, publishing, design and advertising.

His work ranges from montages for editorial commissions through to brochures, annual reports, book jackets, billboard posters and even the odd bus along the way!

His illustrations are fun, quirky, colourful and nostalgic, using his own collections of imagery and found ephemera, but is also happy to work with images that a client supplies.

He has contributed regular monthly column illustrations for the UKs best selling cycling magazine, Cycling Plus and weekly for the fictional teachers Ms Anne Thrope and Jo Brighouse in the TES Magazine.
